Explore this exciting fur trading post—first built in 1827—that put Langley on the map as the ACTUAL PLACE where British Columbia was created. Packed with new exhibits and adventures for the Parks Canada Centennial in 2011, this is the year to rediscover Fort Langley! Experience the gold rush as you pan for your own gold, and see barrel-making & blacksmithing demonstrations. Exchange stories with costumed interpreters while you watch your kids participate in fun activities.
Open 362 days per year, there is always something to see. We also offer birthday parties, site rentals, wedding rentals, school programs, and Girl Guide programs, and much more! We are open year round. Enjoy our new Full Barrel Café & Šxwimelə Gift Shop.
While you are here be sure to get an Ambassador Pass – the local visitor’s key to free year-long admission to the site. The Ambassador Pass is included with your day admission. Every time you return with paying family or friends for the following 12 months, your Ambassador Pass will entitle you to free admission. Annual passes & Parks Canada Discovery Passes are also available.
